You pretty much need a flowchart to understand Primer.  You might need a flowchart for the flowchart.  I don’t think I’ve ever not understood a movie the first time through until now.  Even Donnie Darko was more understandable.

What a moebius strip of a movie… and not necessarily in the enjoyable ways.

  2. I came across a list of “semi-obscure movies that you should watch” a while back. Added a couple to my Netflix queue. Don’t remember where I saw the list or what else was on it, but I’m pretty sure that Let The Right One In (which turned out great) and Primer (which turned out sorta okay) were both on it.
